INOVASI PENGENALAN SEJARAH ALAT MEDIS PADA MUSEUM KLINIK SANTA MARIA KOTA METRO MENGGUNAKAN TEKNOLOGI VIRTUAL TOUR
Abstract
Advances in digital technology have had a significant impact on education and historical promotion. The Santa Maria Clinic Museum in Metro City is a cultural heritage building housing a collection of medical instruments from the Dutch colonial era. However, the lack of public understanding of this museum presents a challenge to its preservation. This research aims to develop a website-based Virtual Tour application as an interactive medium to introduce the history of medical instruments in the museum. The Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method used in this research covers the conceptualization, design, material collection, manufacturing, testing, and distribution stages. Black Box testing demonstrated that all application features functioned well. The results demonstrate that this application increases public interest in the museum and facilitates access to information about the history of medical instruments. It is hoped that this innovation can become an engaging and interactive digital educational tool for the wider community.
