BASED ANDROID MEDIA EDUKASI INTRAKTIF PENGENALAN VARIETAS KOPI ROBUSTA DI LAMPUNG BARAT DENGAN AUGMENTED REALITY

Abstract

In the modern era, the development of digital technology brings convenience in accessing and delivering information. especially in the field of multimedia opens up opportunities to create interactive and efficient learning media, including in the agricultural sector, which requires innovation to increase the effectiveness and attractiveness of learning. Robusta coffee is West Lampung's leading commodity with six local varieties that have been officially registered and each has its own characteristics and advantages. However, surveys show that most farmers still have limited knowledge about these varieties. This research aims to develop a markerless Augmented Reality (AR) based learning media that allows users to visualize robusta coffee varieties in 3D by simply pointing the camera at the surrounding environment without the need for markers. This application is designed using Unity 3D software and Vuforia Engine. The final result of this research is an AR-based interactive learning media that can be run on Android devices with a minimum version of 8.0 (Oreo). This media is expected to help farmers and the public in understanding the characteristics and advantages of robusta coffee varieties, as well as increasing the utilization of technology in learning in the agricultural sector.
