Abstract

The tourism sector plays a crucial role in economic growth and regional development. However, managing ticketing and tourist facilities often faces challenges due to the manual reservation process. One of Bandar Lampung's educational tourism destinations, Lembah Suhita, still relies on ticket booking through WhatsApp and Instagram. This method is inefficient and can lead to duplicate bookings. As a result, this study aims to develop a web-based ticket reservation system that is more convenient and efficient for both managers and visitors. In this study, Extreme Programming (XP) was used, consisting of the planning, design, coding, and testing phases. While Unified Modeling Language (UML) was applied for system design, the Black Box Testing method was utilized for system testing. The system offers online ticket booking, digital payment, and a more structured reservation management feature to prevent duplicate bookings. Additionally, the Greedy algorithm enhances reservation management efficiency by prioritizing ticket orders with the highest quantity first. The research results indicate that the designed system enables visitors to conveniently book tickets and tour packages online. Furthermore, it helps managers optimize the reservation process by improving the visitor experience and reducing double-booking errors. With this online reservation system, the number of tourists visiting Lembah Suhita is expected to increase, and operational management will become more efficient
