PERLINDUNGAN INVESTOR DALAM PERSPEKTIF CORPORATE GOVERNANCE: (STUDI KASUS PADA IPO GOTO)

Abstract

An This study is a literature review that attempts to describe the aspect of investor protection in a corporate governance perspective with a case study on the initial public offering (IPO) conducted by GoTo. The implementation of the IPO attracts investors. This investment poses various risks for investors so that investor protection methods are needed, one of which is through corporate governance.

With the results of a review of the steps taken by GoTo in its go public action, GoTo has demonstrated the implementation of good corporate governance, namely with transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, and fairness in its prospectus.

This study has several limitations, it only focuses on the implementation of corporate governance in the IPO and only on one sample, GoTo. The next author is expected to be able to review aspects of corporate governance after the IPO and on several samples.
