Penelitian Destinasi Batu Lapis Sumber Agung Lampung

Abstrak

This study focuses on Batu Lapis Sumber Agung, a developing tourist destination in Lampung, Indonesia, using a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis approach. This study aims to evaluate internal and external factors that influence the growth and sustainability of the destination as a leading tourist destination. This study includes an assessment of key elements, such as geographical uniqueness, cultural richness, infrastructure conditions, local community involvement, and tourism market trends. Batu Lapis Sumber Agung has great potential to become a leading tourist destination in Lampung due to its natural beauty, unique geological formations, and rich cultural heritage. The results of the SWOT analysis show that the main strengths of this destination lie in its stunning natural beauty, distinctive geological formations, and local cultural attractions. However, there are significant weaknesses, such as the lack of supporting infrastructure and minimal optimal promotional efforts. On the other hand, opportunities for sustainable tourism development, including support from government initiatives and increasing interest in ecotourism, provide great opportunities to drive the growth of this destination. However, threats such as environmental damage, competition from other destinations, and seasonal fluctuations in tourist numbers are challenges that need to be overcome. With better management strategies, infrastructure improvements, and sustainable approaches, Batu Lapis Sumber Agung can maximize its potential and opportunities while mitigating existing risks and challenges. This study offers strategic insights to support the development of Batu Lapis Sumber Agung as a leading sustainable tourism destination in Lampung.
