Pengaruh Manajemen Laba, Strategi Bisnis, dan Kepemilikan Manajerial Terhadap Financial Distress (Studi Empiris pada Perusahaan Manufaktur Sub Sektor Technology di BEI 2019-2023)

Abstract

A company is facing financial trouble or hardship that will result in bankruptcy if it is not handled immediately. From a stakeholder perspective, for those interested in the company, they will see and analyze the company's financial reports to see if there is earnings management, there is a good business strategy and can analyze the influence of the company's managerial ownership. The samples used in this research were Manufacturing Companies in the Technology Subsector which were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2019-2023, resulting in a total sample of 14 companies. This research uses panel data analysis hypothesis testing with the help of Eviews 12. The results of this research show that the earnings management variable has a positive effect on financial distress, while the business strategy and managerial ownership variables have no effect on financial distress.
