Mengembangkan Potensi Wisata Way Tebing Ceppa: Pendekatan Analisis SWOT dan Strategi Pengembangan Produk Wisata

Way Tebing Cepa is one of the gems for tourism destination in Indonesia with beautiful natural and cultural attractions. This research aims to identify the potential and challenges of Way Tebing Cepa tourism development by applying SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat) and formulate various strategies for sustainable tourism product development. The analysis shows that the main strengths of Way Tebing Cepa are its natural scenery and the uniqueness of its community culture. On the other hand, Way Tebing Cepa has weaknesses characterized by the lack of adequate infrastructure facilities and insufficient promotion. Given these problems, the two suggested development strategies are improvement of infrastructure facilities, widening of tourism types, and cooperation with local residents including the use of information technology for advertising. The essence of these strategies is to strengthen Way Tebing Cepa's competitive advantage as a tourist destination, improve community welfare, and help protect the environment.
