Abstract

Technology plays a significant role in every field, requiring everyone to prepare for its rapid development. With computers replacing many human roles in the world of education, where learning and teaching activities are inseparable from technological advancements, every individual, organization, and the education sector must master technology. Technology can also improve human work results more efficiently, effectively, faster, and more perfectly than manual work, shorten distances, speed up time, and unite those who are far apart. The world of education is not free from technological developments, as well as what happens in Islamic boarding schools that have educational programs starting from junior high school (SMP) and senior high school (SMA) or vocational high school (SMK) in the Central Lampung area, especially in the Seputih sub-district of Surabaya. Islamic boarding schools with formal education programs face challenges in integrating technology into their educational programs due to inadequate infrastructure and a dearth of technology-savvy teachers, Researchers used the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) Model, which has several variables that can provide the best solution, to measure the extent of the problems at the Islamic boarding school. The results obtained from research involving three types of population, namely boarding school managers, students and the general public, in general technology has not yet integrated with them, but in general boarding school managers have expressed readiness, students and the general public are still half-hearted in accepting technology, to be more precise can be seen in the research results.
