Sistem Pemilihan Vendor Instalasi Menggunakan Metode Analytical Hierarchy Process dan Simple Additive Weighting

Abstrak

In the implementation of telecommunication network development, telecommunication companies rely heavily on partnerships with vendors as key collaborators. Given the importance of selecting the right vendor, there is a need for an information system in the form of an application that facilitates a systematic vendor selection process. This study aims to determine the priority weights of vendor selection criteria and to implement a decision support system that integrates the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) methods—commonly referred to as the Hybrid AHP-SAW method—to evaluate its effectiveness in assisting employees in ranking vendors.

The research was conducted within the Service Delivery Division, which regularly evaluates five selected vendors as potential partners. Vendors with higher rankings are assigned a greater portion of the work. The implementation stages in this study include data collection, identification of key criteria, weighting using the AHP method, classification of attribute types, ranking using the SAW method, and the development of an application-based decision support system.

The results demonstrate that the most influential criteria in vendor selection are Track Record (31.8%), Portfolio (27.3%), Product Quality (17.7%), Price (12.6%), and Contract Commitment (10.5%). Furthermore, the developed system effectively supports accurate vendor ranking, thereby enhancing decision-making efficiency in selecting vendors for telecommunication network installation projects.
