Abstract

Indonesia has a long and significant history of transmigration as part of its national development. Lampung is one of the provinces with a rich history of transmigration, yet public understanding of transmigration and its history remains limited. One way to enhance public awareness of Lampung's transmigration history is through a visual approach. Museums are ideal venues for presenting historical information in an engaging and interactive manner. However, the Lampung Transmigration Museum currently relies on static information panels, which may be less appealing to younger generations who are more familiar with technology. Based on these issues, the author developed an application for the Lampung Transmigration Museum utilizing Augmented Reality (AR) technology to enhance visitors' experience in understanding the history of transmigration in Lampung. The application development process involved several tools, including Unity, SketchUp, Vuforia, and Photoshop. This study employed the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) method, which consists of the stages of Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing, and Distribution. Blackbox testing results indicate that all features function properly across various versions of the Android platform
