Penerapan Forward Chaining dalam Mendiagnosa Penyakit Pada Udang

Diagnostic System, Lobster Disease, Forward Chaining MethodAbstract
Lobsters are a sort of animal that live in the water, specifically in the river, the sea, or the lake. Lobsters live in any kind of water. Many people cultivate them in the ponds because it is beneficial. However, lobster cultivation often encounters problems such as diseases on the lobsters.
This study is based on several stages, namely defining the problem, collecting the data, designing and modeling the system, producing, and evaluating the system. In establishing the diagnostic system of diseases on lobsters, the writer used forward chaining method. This method would do some processes starting from the data collection, making inference based on the rules and then finding out an optimal solution. In this case the input variable used was symptoms of the disease, while the variables were swimming unsteadily to the surface of the pond, dying when hitting the levee/ edge of the pond, suffering white-spots on the shell, and too sensitive to environmental changes. The next input variables were being infected by bacteria, having hot-spots on the shell, red-colored gill, black wound on the tail, abundant white shit on the edges of the pond, and having high water concentration in the pond; while the output variable was the disease, namely white spot, black spot, red gill, white feces, and necrosis.
The application of the diagnostic system of diseases on lobsters is the application that can be used in lobster aquaculture sector. The diagnostic system is an alternative choice
