Abstract

 A prototype of a coffee bean sorter based on color using the Internet of Things (IoT) has been designed to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the coffee bean sorting process. The system employs an ESP32 microcontroller combined with a TCS3200 color sensor to detect the ripeness of coffee beans based on their color. A TowerPro MG995 servo motor is used to drive the sorting mechanism, while a Load Cell with an HX711 module measures the weight of the sorted coffee beans. The sorting results are displayed on a 16x2 LCD and can be monitored through an integrated website. System testing demonstrates that the system can automatically sort coffee beans with high accuracy, reducing the time required for manual sorting and minimizing errors caused by human vision variability. The implementation of this system is expected to significantly contribute to improving the quality of coffee produced by farmers
