Pengaruh Pemanfaatan Media Sosial Instragram Terhadap Minat Kunjungan Wisatawan Pada Objek Wisata Green Paradise Kota Pagar Alam
Abstract
Social media has an important role and has a big impact on increasing tourist interest. This platform is the main tool for informing and promoting tourist destinations. The better the quality of information shared through social media, the greater the interest of tourists to visit. This study aims to determine the influence of the use of Instagram social media on tourist interest in visiting the Green Paradise tourist attraction in Pagar Alam City. The method used in this study is quantitative with the Non Probability Sampling technique, namely Purposive Sampling. The sample in this study was 44 people with the criteria of Instagram users and had visited the Green Paradise tourist attraction. Data analysis used simple linear regression analysis with the SPSS 26 program. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Use of Social Media has a significant effect on Tourist Interest in the Green Paradise tourist attraction in Pagar Alam City. The test results show that the R Square value is 0.554 while the remaining 0.446 is influenced by other factors that were not studied. The results of this study provide implications that there needs to be good use of Instagram social media in increasing tourist interest in visiting the Green Paradise tourist attraction in Pagar Alam City.
