Abstract

Community Service Activities are one form of Tri Dharma of Higher Education, in addition, it is expected that with community service the existence of higher education can make a major contribution to the development and application of science to the school community. The school is aware of the importance of technology and is interested in using it in learning activities carried out in schools, other benefits such as increasing teacher and student knowledge in implementing and utilizing local wireless technology as an economical learning resource in rural school areas. Teachers and students at SMKN 1 Negerikaton are very enthusiastic in participating in workshops and training activities related to the use of this Digital Learning platform. Dissemination of local wireless-based technology is an alternative to reducing the cost of quotas that have been used by students and teachers in obtaining specific learning information, local wireless technology is an application of computer network technology that can be used for digital learning in schools, with a simple client-server principle and utilizing an existing learning management system platform, then the possibility of saving quota costs is higher, besides that the availability of technology is also more guaranteed because it does not depend on internet service providers. This form of technology can be used by schools, namely: teachers, students, education personnel, operators and the community around the school.
